The short version

Sympul is a private workspace for private business deals. What you put in it is yours. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with anyone you haven’t chosen to share it with. We do keep the plain figures from documents you have analysed, without any names attached, to describe general patterns across deals — explained in full below.

What we collect

If you request access, we keep your name and email so we can consider the request and get in touch. If you have an account, we keep your name, email, and whatever you choose to record in Sympul — your deals, documents and the people involved in them.

Who can see it

By default, only you. Other people see a deal only when you invite them or share it with them, and only the parts you’ve shared. We use a small number of trusted providers to host the app, store data and send email, and they act only on our instructions.

When you use Yluvatar.AI

If you ask Yluvatar.AI to read a document, that document is sent to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to be analysed. Their servers are outside Indonesia, so this involves a transfer of that data abroad. They process it to answer that one request and do not use it to train their models.

Before anything is sent, Sympul anonymises its own records about other people in your workspace: their names are replaced with “Party A”, “Party B” and so on, and your other deals are described only by type. The document you upload is sent as you received it, because a pitch deck cannot be meaningfully redacted — it is the sender’s own material, given to you to be evaluated. Only upload documents you are comfortable having read this way.

The uploaded file is deleted once the analysis finishes. The analysis itself stays in your account until you delete it.

How we learn from deals across Sympul

When Yluvatar.AI reads a document, it also records a small set of plain figures about the deal — things like the amount being raised, a projected revenue or margin, the industry, the province, and what the money is for. These are kept after the document itself is deleted, so that later reports can be checked against what was originally projected.

We also use these figures, combined across all workspaces, to describe general patterns — for example what deals of a certain type typically project. Only the figures are used this way. They carry no names, no company names, no deal names and no document text, and nothing that identifies you or the people in your deals. A pattern is only ever shown when it is drawn from several different deals, never from one, so a single deal cannot be picked out of it.

This does not change who can see your deals: your deals, documents and the people in them remain visible only to you and to anyone you share them with. And it is not used to train any AI model, ours or anyone else’s.

Yluvatar.AI is not advice

Yluvatar.AI is a reading and analysis tool. It restates what a document claims, checks the arithmetic, points out what has been left unsaid, and raises questions worth asking. It is not business, investment, financial, legal or tax advice. The decision to enter, decline, or price any deal is always yours.

A Comprehensive memo ends with a verdict in three plain levels — Good Deal, Worth Pursuing, or Dig Deeper — and every verdict shows the open items and arithmetic it rests on, so you can check the reasoning rather than trust a label. It never decides for you and never suggests an amount. Its output can also be incomplete or simply wrong: it works from the document you give it, and documents are often incomplete or wrong themselves.

The final call is always yours. Check anything you intend to act on against the original documents, and where the sums justify it, take advice from a qualified professional — an accountant, a lawyer, or a licensed financial adviser. Sympul is not any of those, and does not act as one.

Keeping it safe

Data is encrypted in transit, files are stored privately, and access rules are enforced by the database itself rather than only in the interface. We keep your data while your account is open, and we remove it if you ask us to.
